Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) at BCMS
AKA – Bull Dog Bucks Program
 
What: The PBIS team has planned activities for this coming school year, 2009-2010. The activities allow the children to spend their bulldog bucks. These bulldog bucks are earned by the children for showing positive behavior in the following three key areas; purpose, respect and self-management. 
 
Why: Teachers and administrators work with the children to integrate positive behavior into classroom learning, and lessons are embedded into subject area curriculum. The goal is to reward children for positive behavior and to minimize bad behavior and referrals.  
 
How: The planned activities allow children who have been rewarded for positive behavior have an opportunity to spend their earned bulldog bucks.

  •        Prize Wheel
  •        Drawings
  •        Spring Carnival
The PBIS team would like to thank parents for their continued support. The team is looking forward to this coming school year. Below is a calendar where parent assistance and a list of donated items are needed. Please feel free to participate one time or every time.

Note: The Snack Social dates are subject to change when inclement weather changes the A/B day rotation. These will be held on B-days to allow for tutoring on A-days. Updates will be sent in the newsletter.

Drop off at front office one week before snack social.   Mark PBIS snack social.
